1 See a six-toed cat.

There are about 40 cats living at the Hemingway House, all descended from Ernest Hemingway's cat. Most have six or seven toes on their front paws. All of them are named for movie stars.

2 Visit the Cemetery

Bike or take a walk through our 150 year-old cemetery! See humorous tomb stones such as, "I told you I was sick."

3 Enjoy the local seafood.

All restaurants offer the freshest seafood available! Local favorites are Conch (KONK) Fritters, Conch Chowder, Yellowtail Snapper, Grouper, Dolphin (this is the fish, not flipper!), Florida Keys Lobster (ours comes without claws) and KW Pink Shrimp.

4 Visit the famous watering holes.

Visit Key West's famous watering holes and sip a tropical drink at Margaritaville, Sloppy Joe's, Captain Tony's, Schooner Wharf Bar, Hog's Breath and The Bull & Whistle.

5 Support local arts at one of the many art galleries and theatres

Experience the Art & History of Key West at the Custom House (ever changing art exhibits), Lighthouse, East Martello Tower (next to our airport), Mel Fisher's Maritime Museum, Pirate Soul Museum, ArtBar and more!

6 Visit during Fantasy Fest

Ten days of theme parties, costume contests and special events, culminating in a parade full of fantastical floats. Not for the faint-of-heart!
